Now that we have a seemingly more up-to-date version of the ACMA’s blacklist, I thought it would be a good idea to examine some of the websites that are popular in Australia which still appear.

Say goodbye to streaming porn. The following sites appear on the ACMA blacklist:

RedTube – Ranked as the 37th most popular website in Australia.
Pornhub – Ranked as the 46th most popular website in Australia.
TNAFlix – Ranked as the 412nd most popular website in Australia.
Pornotube – Ranked as the 850th most popular website in Australia.

Rankings provided by Alexa.

As evidenced by their rankings, these websites, and others like them, are essentially ubiquitous in Australia. Far from being a cache of disgusting child pornography, as Conroy claims, the ACMA blacklist appears to contain many mainstream websites which are popular to Australians.

I’m sure myself and many others will be watching just how many popular websites emerge from this list.

EFA provides some interesting information regarding dissemination of the list.
